My Process

My process is relational. We are all connected to all that is, all that was, and all that will be. Our first connection starts now! The next step is to fill out my intake form. Once I have received your intake information, I will email you to secure a date for your tattoo ceremony, as well as deposit information and an optional tawas reading, which is included with tattoo ceremony at no extra cost. Please read more information about tawas readings here. After your tawas reading, I will channel your design, which I will send to you through email for your approval before your tattoo ceremony date so we have time to make edits.

For transparency, I have researched and continue to learn about tattoo and cultural practices from the islands colonially known as the Philippines. Although I have a vast knowledge of motifs from different regions, I do not know all of the motifs, but I am always open to learning more to expand my knowledge. With thanks to the sharing of folks I've tattooed, I also have some knowledge of motifs and practices from other cultures through my tattoo research and experience. This work is an ongoing learning process as time and people change and I am here for it!

The energy exchange for tattoo ceremony with me is $222 per hour, with a $222 non-refundable deposit, which will go towards the final cost of your tattoo should you keep your appointment. Please keep in mind that you are receiving a tattoo as ritual healing, and it takes patience, intention, time, and energy from the moment we connect. After our ceremony, I will send you an email for aftercare and an invoice. I kindly ask you to send payment within 24 hours. I am available post-tattoo if you need to process what came up for you during and after your ceremony.

Accessibility Needs

VANCOUVER My studio in Vancouver is NOT wheelchair accessible. There are 2 short flights of stairs and no elevators. MONTREAL The ceremonial space in Montreal is NOT wheelchair accessible. There is a step by the front door and 2 flights of stairs to the top suite of a duplex. TORONTO/CALGARY Accessibility varies depending on the space. *** I use medical grade cleaning supplies and the active ingredient is Thyme oil. I use resins, plants, wood and other types of incense for ritual, however please let me know if you have any intolerances/allergies to scent or smoke and I will adjust.

Measurements

Please provide measurements for your tattoo and let me know the placement. This is important because I do not provide in person consultations at this time. The best way to get measurements is to draw a box in the area you wish to receive your tattoo, and measure the length and width. Find a helper if it is in a place you cannot reach.

Covid-19 Protocols

I strive to hold a trauma-informed space during this global pandemic and in life. I have clients, friends and family who are vulnerable, including myself. For this reason, I have the following Covid-19 protocols in place. If you would still like to move forward with tattoo ceremony with me, please state that you have read, understand, and agree to my Covid - 19 Protocols below: Before Your Tattoo Please provide me with a Covid NEGATIVE test result the evening before or morning of your ceremony. I will do the same. You may bring a support person who I kindly ask to also, agree to and follow my covid protocols. I accept PCR or rapid tests. Day of Your Tattoo Please wear an N95 mask or equivalent, for the duration of your ceremony.
